Creatives For The Culture (CFTC) is a nonprofit dedicated to elevating underserved creative entrepreneurs by providing a professional, dynamic platform for showcasing their talents. We are committed to enriching their creative journey through focused mentorship, fostering both personal and professional growth. Our mission is to amplify diverse voices and cultivate a thriving community of creatives.

THE CORNER: WHERE CREATIVITY MEETS COMMUNITY

The Corner is a monthly gathering for creatives across every artistic discipline: spoken word, music, visual art, fashion, film, writing, dance, and beyond. Each session brings together live performance, showcases of creative work, and honest dialogue with experienced professionals who understand the business side of creativity.

Featured creatives are paid for their time in the room, whether or not they sell their work that day. Selected creatives may also be featured on the CFTC YouTube channel and Instagram.

Second Sundays, 3 to 6 PM. The Corner travels to creative spaces across the community, and the location is shared directly with selected creatives.

BLACK WOMEN CREATE: THE WOMEN BUILDING THE CULTURE

Black Women Create is a Creatives For The Culture platform honoring Black women creatives and entrepreneurs through intimate gatherings, recognition, and direct investment in their work.

After Hours: A free, invitation-only evening where Black women creatives connect, share honestly, and build relationships that move careers forward.

Creative Entrepreneur Award: A cash award presented each year at MAP to a Black woman creative entrepreneur whose work is shaping the culture.

Honors: Coming 2027.
